With the 26th selection...

OKay, boys and girls, it's that time. I was going to post this Wednesday, but I'm too excited to wait. This is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Anyway, it's time to put your Ozzie hats on and predict our newest Raven. I have been on the Jimmy Smith bandwagon for a while now because if he's there at 26, he simply will be the most talented player available, and I don't think too many people will disagree. Yes, the red flags are there, but you can say that with a lot of potential first round selections. However, I have a funny feeling Smith will be gone well before 26. I bet a team will take a gamble on him in the teens and hope he keeps his head on straight. That being said, my gut says we trade back with a team looking to come back in and grab a QB. But since that is impossible to predict (as is everything else draft-related), I will make a selection. Going with a dark-horse candidate here...the Baltimore Ravens select, Jabaal Sheard, DE, Pittsburgh. Big East Player of the Year, good program, fills a major need, and has already made a visit to Charm City. What say you? Who will be our newest Raven, staying at 26?
