Print"My teammates and I mourn the death of William Donald Schaefer, who championed the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland as Mayor of Baltimore and Governor of Maryland. He built quite a legacy during his career in public service.
Like the Baltimore Colts, he enjoyed a very special relationship with Baltimore. And his heart – like ours – was broken when our team left town. Our condolences to Governor Schaefer’s family and friends."
