Arrowhead Pride Mock Draft

Hey Ravenites, Ben from Arrowhead Pride stopping by for a little advice! As the Baltimore rep for the past three years (since our inaugural draft), I figure its about time I get the opinion of some fans who know a little more about the Ravens than I do. You can check out AP to see who's available, and post your advice below!

P.S. Any extreme ribbing about spanking my Chiefs in the wild card round will result in me simply drafting myself in the first round. At 5'11'' and 163 pounds, I would not contribute. You decided.... hah!

I know many of us really like Justin Houston and feel he can be an immediate help in the pass rush. Another rising favorite here is Wilkerson because he will be a perfect 3-4 end. I don’t feel any WR’s are worth our pick and if you do a 2nd round WR could be a good fit there if a Titus Young, or some type of speed WR is still around. OT is also a need, but IMO I hate this draft for OT’s because I feel all of them have major flaws in their games. Most would agree our biggest needs are OLB/DE,OT and WR, so your best bet is going whoever is BPA at one of those positions.

Best available player at either DE/OLB, OT, WR. If Jimmy Smith or Justin Houston are there at 26, just flip a coin. If Sherrod, Solder, or Wilkerson are there, they would be good options as well.

I was going to say take Jimmy Smith

but I see Akeem Ayers has not been taken and he looks to be the best value by far at this point.

Ayers is a 4-3 OLB, not 3-4 OLB.

Given that Justin Houston is gone in your mock, give us Jimmy Smith. Its doubtful we’d ever get the chance to pick another 6’+ CB with his cover skills after pick 20 in the future.

Then take either a OLB, DE or WR in the 2nd round (in that order of preference)
