KANSAS CITY MO - JANUARY 09: Wide receiver Dexter McCluster #22 of the Kansas City Chiefs is tackled by linebacker Jameel McClain #53 of the Baltimore Ravens during their 2011 AFC wild card playoff game at Arrowhead Stadium on January 9 2011 in Kansas City Missouri. The Baltimore Ravens placed a second round tender on linebacker Jameel McClain, meaning that any team that has ideas to try and sign the starting inside linebacker would have to give the Ravens their second round draft pick in exchange for signing McClain to a contract. McClain surprisingly, was the Ravens third leading tackler, with 91 tackles last year.
The Ravens are obviously interested in retaining Jameel, as a second round tender for a guy that was undrafted out of Syracuse is a retty impressive statement of the respect they have for the player who lined up next to Ray Lewis, starting 15 games last year.
