Bill Belichick Shows Up In Annapolis

Stay connected for news and updates

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick unexpectedly turned up in Annapolis, Maryland this past Thursday night, but it was not to find out any secrets of the Baltimore Ravens. The Touchdown Club of Annapolis annually recognizes a coach whose impact has gone well beyond the confines of the gridiron and their meeting was held at a local hotel there. The recipient is awarded the Steve Belichick Award, named in honor of Bill's late father, who served as Naval Academy assistant for over 30 years.

This year's recipient was Broadneck High School's Jeff Herrick, who just retired after 22 years of coaching.
