Ravens Injury Report: Thursday
A bit more improvement on the injury front for the Baltimore Ravens. Two players who did not participate at all on Wednesday had limited participation on Thursday. That's encouraging news for DT Haloti Ngata (back) and Ben Grubbs (toe), both of whom did not practice on Wednesday. This progression more than likely means that as veterans they are being brought along slowly during the week in order to keep them fresh for game day.
LB Ray Lewis (toe) and CB Chris Carr (back) stayed on the same "limited participation" list, although PK Billy Cundiff (calf), DE Cory Redding (ankle) and CB Lardarius Webb (toe) stayed on the "did not practice" list as they were on Wednesday as well.
Expect Cundiff to be kept out of practice until Friday, just to prove he can kick field goals and if the team needs to utilize punter Sam Koch on kickoffs as they did in the second half of the Indianapolis Colts game, they would be fine with that. Redding may or may not play and while he has been a beast as of late, the Ravens are deep along the defensive line and could compensate with a bevy of other choices.

David Mims, the best UDFA of 2011
David Mims, currently on the KC Chiefs 53 is the best UDFA pick up of the year. Watch out for this highly prized LT, his stock is as high as any lineman in the NFL. Don’t believe me, ask Gaither or Barry Richardson of the Chiefs. Only money is keeping Richardson or Albert on the field ahead of Mims. David Mims is going to be a star and the Ravens would be wise to keep an eye on this cat. Go Ravens.
