Baltimore Beatdown Growing In Record Numbers

Baltimore Beatdown may be getting record numbers in traffic in the 2011 season compared to the past, but are still far behind many of the other of SB Nation's NFL blogs in terms of total visits and page views. However, from November 2010 through November 2011, only one other NFL blog in the network had a higher percentage of growth

Baltimore Beatdown experienced a 152% increase in growth in terms of traffic over the past year, trailing only Cincy Jungle's 212%. Behind us was Niners Nation (150%), followed by Cat Scratch Reader, the Carolina Panthers blog (149%) and Revenge of the Birds, the Arizona Cardinals blog (134%).

Baltimore Beatdown has averaged around 150,000 visits and 290,000 page views since the season began after only crossing the 100,000 visit barrier in this past January's playoff run fro the first time ever in The Beatdown's history. By the end of December, we will cross the 5 million page view threshold since we started on this site a little over four years ago.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to the success of what I think is by far the best blog on the internet for fans of the Baltimore Ravens. The ability to post your thoughts, be it in a story of your own or just a comment on someone else's plus the live, in-game 'Open Threads' give all of us fans a voice, which is all we ever wanted.

Special thanks go out to the guys who post on the Front Page and help me out by giving another point of view with their thoughts and observations as well as their in-depth and creative topics. If anyone else wants to help out and take a specific time slot on a regular basis to hone your journalistic skills, feel free to contact me at BaltimoreBeatdown@gmail.com.

Happy Holidays, everyone and thanks again. Peace.
