Lardarius Webb To Miss Games With Turf Toe
As reported on 105.7 The Fan, it appears that Baltimore Ravens CB Lardarius Webb has an injured toe similar to the turf toe injury that guard Ben Grubbs suffered earlier this season and LB Ray Lewis is currently dealing with, and could miss up to four weeks. Ouch. Looks like it's "Jimmy Smith" time!

Jimmy time. He was going to get this opportunity sooner or later, might as well make it when our season is on the line.
Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.
Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang
yeah
But its a shame to see another great season by webb interrupted

Hopefully Harbaugh doesn’t make the mistake of revealing to us that it was hurt on a punt return. That would cause wide spread chaos. He be better off lying and say that it happened on defense.

What is with all these turf toe injuries? Just when Webb was playing the best football we have ever seen from him, he gets hurt.
Man, if there is ever a time for Jimmy to step his game up and show why we took him with our first round pick, it is right now.

This is not good
At least we are deep at this position. Hopefully Carr will be healthy soon and Smith and Gorrer are ready to step up!
Don't let my defense dictate your offense..
Maybe we can get him to Denver – if Teboe but touches him, he will be made whole.

Harbaugh said he expects all the #Ravens who played Sunday to be ready for San Diego, including CB Lardarius Webb

Not really...
Harbs said he expects everyone that played on Sunday to play next Sunday night. When asked if that included Webb, he merely replied that Webb played this past Sunday.
Here’s the story on BaltimoreRavens.com referencing Aaron Wilson’s story from the Carroll County Times

That story by Wilson came out before the presser though.

good ol harbs. i like how he takes the billick media/fan approach. praise the fans for how great we are and then shove our faces in it when THEY win. like, although we’re fans we hope they lose because it suits our hate monger motives. we just don’t understand….nor should we be given a straight answer. i guess it keeps the opponents game plan in limbo.
well, i have to admit that im a little matt lauer glim at times when it comes to blocking schemes and 5 yard QB sneaks but i know what love is jennaay.
yup
and raven is now 5 in for the night lol
Bulger/Smith 2011 :)
Wondering
If there is a correlation between the rash of Turf Toe injuries on the Ravens and either surfaces they practice/play on (as in, either or both new this season?), how they practice, or the shortened off-season/lack of OTA’s; or some combination thereof?
