Ravens-Steelers News & Game Capsule
November has arrived and wins against divisional opponents are in high demand as playoff races take form. Week 9 features a showdown between AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens (5-2) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2), at Heinz Field on Sunday night (NBC 8:20 PM ET). Pittsburgh hopes to rebound from a 35-7 loss at Baltimore in Week 1.
"The root of the matter is, we have two very good football teams with the same intentions and that is to dominate the AFC North and put themselves in positions to chase the Lombardi," says Tomlin whose team is 5-1 at home against Baltimore during his tenure (including postseason). "That is why we will always have issues with these guys because I expect that their goals will be unchanging like ours."
The Ravens are still buzzing after overcoming a 24-3 deficit to defeat Arizona 30-27 in Week 8, but their focus has quickly shifted to Pittsburgh.
"I think it’s a big game," says Ravens head coach JOHN HARBAUGH. "It’s a game that we love to play in. It’s Ravens-Steelers. We know how to play that game; they know how to play that game. We’re looking forward to it. I do know that."

The Real Story -- Grubbs
This is the story I’m following most closely leading up to Sunday night. We might win without Grubbs, but with him and with so many of Pittsburgh’s LBs injured, I think we dominate the line of scrimmage and thus the game, the way we did in Week 1:
Reading This
Anybody else get the feeling Harbs is super paranoid of providing anything remotely close to bulletin board material?
I mean, what he said is not that far from, “We have a game Sunday. We are going to play that game at Heinz field against the Pittsburgh Steelers”. I have heard more lively comments from a TSA agent…
"A little learning is a dangerous thing; Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring."
"The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug."
"God's whiskers! Your face is as hideous as the demon's in my storybook!"
"I never expected to see the day when girls would get sunburned in the places they do today."
"It's big for a reason."
For Pittsburgh fans, that's Pope, Twain, Rostand, Rogers and Megamind
