The Baltimore Ravens placed LB Prescott Burgess on Injured Reserve (thigh) Tuesday afternoon. Burgess, a sixth-round draft choice by Baltimore in 2007, has seen action in 40 career games. He sustained the injury this past Sunday in the win over Arizona. The 6-foot-3, 253-pounder appeared in three games with the Ravens this season, recording one assisted tackle and two special teams tackles.

In addition, the Ravens made two practice squad changes Tuesday, waiving S Mana Silva and re-signing WR Rodney Bradley.

Solid football player is what Jones is. Familiar with our system, played well here. Good pick up.

Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.

Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang

Agreed. This guy has worked in as a LB, TE and FB for us in the past, so as you said this guy is just a football player simple as that. I believe he was solid on special teams if I remember correctly.

Jones always seemed to

find his way to the QB. Wonder why SD and Skins just didn’t want him over the past year or two?

I am as well. We don’t need him this year, but last year he sure would have helped as a pass rushing specialist.
