"Just My Type" --Haloti Ngata, Baltimore Ravens by Dan Patrick
Dan Patrick gets the credit for conducting this interview with Baltimore's resident beast, Haloti Ngata. I'll spare the intro since all of us are familiar with the force of nature that sissifies opposing offensive linemen, swallows up tailbacks, and makes quarterbacks cry (yes I'm talking to you Tom "Uggs" Brady) Haloti even has a TD to his credit after signing a record-setting deal this season!
Our superstar DT, NT, DE, TE, and FB shares thoughts ranging from how he feels about playing multiple positions to which QB he loves to hit most, and what he'd do if someone went at his knees (pay close attention pitt trolls). I love his humility almost as much as I love watching him smack around grown men on a weekly basis. Haloti is a gentleman, a scholar-athlete, and the heart of our defense. Take a read and enjoy.
GO BALTIMORE!

Thanks Evan
I had seen the one quote but not the whole interview. I love how he talks about “us” and not about “I”. And I absolutely love this exchange:
DP: What if I went at your knees?
HN: I’d probably try to stick my knee in your neck or something.
DP: In a nice way.
HN: In a nice way. Nothing against you. I wouldn’t do anything to really try to hurt you. But since you’re down there, I might as well.
"What we've got here is failure to communicate."
HN: I love hitting Tom Brady because he always complains. He thinks he should never be touched.
Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.
Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang
