Ravens Wednesday Injury Report
It's relatively early in the week to predict how the injuries will play out for Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and the visiting Arizona Cardinals, but today's report gives a bit of an indication for what to expect by the time the final report and game status comes out on Friday afternoon.
As expected, Ravens WR Lee Evans (ankle) still has not practiced, along with RB Anthony Allen (thigh) and LB Dannell Ellerbe (thigh). Sadly, neither has G Ben Grubbs (toe), who appears to have perhaps the same injury that ended up sending All-Pro and sure-fire Hall of Fame LT Jonathan Ogden into retirement. Perhaps no other player on this team is being missed on the field more than Grubbs' absence has proved.
Good news is that safety Tom Zbikowski fully participated in Wednesday's practice, which means his return should be expected Sunday if all goes well the remainder of the week. Also good to note is that rookie CB Jimmy Smith is not even anywhere on the Injury Report, although according to Coach Harbaugh, he was sore and gimpy in the Jacksonvlle game and only played on two of the Special Teams kickoffs. CB Chris Carr was limited once again, and he has been reported as saying he will not return until he is fully healed and will not risk re-aggravating the injury until then.

We won’t sign TO. After he dissed us before, we won’t sneeze in his direction, much less talk to him.

Is anyone ready to Call Evans a bust signing this year? I know he has the talent and the ability to really make an impact, but the guy hasn’t played for us. That kinda sucks when we were clearly expecting more from him.
Just not sure at this point if he’s going to play at all this season or if he does, how few games it will be.

Yep, halfway through the season and Kindle has seen the field more. At this point in the season, we have no timetable for his return. Every week we hear midweek that Evans still isn’t practicing and won’t play. If he can play only 4 or 5 games this season, is he really able to get himself up to speed and be a huge help worthy of his contract?

Still not sure why you are here if you will only repeat the same 3 words to an intelligent debate. But at least I know where you stand on the issue.

I wont call him a bust but he needs to come back this week. The ravens seriously need his help and Torrey may be doing fine but he’s better suited as a number three wideout .

I'm actually really encouraged by Evans' injury update
Did anyone else read it? He said he feels a lot better from last week and has made a lot of progress. This is the first sign of progression I’ve heard from him instead of the “we’ll just take it week by week” deal. Here’s hoping he’ll be ready for Pitt!

I could have swore we have seen him practice a few times this season though and he aggravates the injury every time.
