After last night's dismal performance in front of a dismal Jacksonville Stadium, I think we got some thinking to do.

Personally, I think Joe has the potential to become a very good quarterback in the NFL.  Will he be Montana or Elway, no, but he can at least be a franchise QB, God knows it's what we need.  However, without sounding like a broken record, there are two very big hindrances preventing that.

Cam Cameron is probably the WORST offensive coordinator in the league.  His only accomplishment as a head coach for Miami was beating us in OT for a 1-15 season, enough said there.  Yes, I know that no receivers were open, Jacksonville played defense the way it's been for 50 years.  You know what the GREAT offensive coordinators do? They look to change up their plays, and they didn't do that for nine straight possessions. Nine straight 3 and outs.  If this is the kind of game that will put CamCam's job in jeopardy, bring on the L's! I don't think he should BE fired, I think he should HAVE BEEN fired after last years Pittsburgh playoff.  Joe clearly doesn't like him. He mouthed off after the Ravens fired Jim Zorn as QB coach.  Cam is always the last person Joe thanks when making a great play.

I don't know if you notice, but the O-Line reeks!  I could get my 85 year old grandmother, my dog, and my last two ex-girlfriends (both of whom are football illiterate) in the O-Line, and they could do a better job protecting Joe.  How many times must we see Michael Oher miss defenders, fail to protect his OWN blind side, and create dumb penalties?  I know we wanted him to move to Right Tackle, but he still sucks.  Come on, I think he give this guy too much credit for his movie, that it overshadows his vanilla tackling.  Bryant McKinnie.  Were we that desperate that we had to sign his fat ass to a contract?  The man is lazy, never shows up to practice on time, gets in trouble with the law, and he's plain slow.  I was watching him last night and was wondering if McKinnie is still nursing a hangover from that Minnesota sex boat party. 

The good new is that the defense showed up the way we expected to.  Except they were on the field far too long, because the offense was so inept.
