Should be a good game

I actually don’t hate the ravens as much as other teams so it should be fun

Blaine Gabbert might not have very fond feelings for the Ravens after this game

5 sacks, 2 picks, 1 strip sack, <50 quarterback rating is my guess. Gonna be a tough day for the rookie. I wish you guys luck…after this game. It would be nice to see the Jags get back as a competitor, I miss the Ravens/Jags rivalry from the AFC Central.

Lol, our defense has scored 2 less TD’s than their offense has.

Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.

Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang

Nice! How many DB’s on our roster does that make? Williams, Webb, Carr, Smith, Brown, Gorrer, McCann, Nakumara, Zbikowski, Pollard, and Reed? 11, am I forgetting anyone?

I think that’s it. Wonder if McCann will get cut or if they will keep the extra bodies for health.

I doubt McCann gets cut.. I’d be surprised

by Evan Skev on Oct 20, 2011 5:09 PM EDT up reply actions

Someone will have to go

they just cut LeVoir, they’ll probably bring him back or add another O lineman after this game. McCann is the likely one to go. Williams, Webb, Carr, Smith, Brown aren’t going anywhere, and Gorrer has been playing really well. McCann is only here to return, and if David Reed is getting healthy, McCann will be gone soon.

Jimmy and Carr already count against the 53 man roster, it’s just a matter of who they “inactivate” on gamedays now.

I just think when Jimmy and Carr are healthy

one of the other CBs will go to help out at O line…or just keep the spot to cut/re-sign/cut/re-sign Prescott Burgess

The way this team has been with CBs… They need 7 or 8 on the roster… I bet two bits that McCann stays all season

by Evan Skev on Oct 20, 2011 9:43 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions

Maybe

the only reason he’s here though is because of being thin at returner. They don’t really need him at CB, so if/when our CBs get healthy, he’ll be the likely candidate to go to get some depth at another position.

He’s not really in high demand, if we cut him and another CB gets injured later on, he’ll probably still be available to pick back up. Or at least another guy with comparable skills.

still no Grubbs though. Never would have thought he would miss this much time.

You guys will most likely win, but i think our defense will prove they are good in this match..

It wont be as easy as most people think, the big question marks for us is the production of MSW joining back, Monroe and Britton if they come back to our hurting o-line, and if Cox can make a return at CB.

We are first in scoring defense; you are last in scoring offense. Your D will be on the field all game. By the 4th quarter, we should be able to run all over you. I’m not seeing a close game here.

This is a focused Ravens team with veteran leadership and experience combined with youthful speed and talent.

Ravens eat up young QBs… it won’t be pretty for Blaine. I hope there are no major injuries to either side.

good luck
