Michael Oher's Little Brother To Play Hoops At Loyola
In the movie, The Blind Side, Michael Oher was adopted by the Tuohy family, and spent a lot of time playing and training with the youngest member of the family, Sean Tuohy, Jr. Based on his true story, Oher went on to star at Ole Miss and then was the first round draft choice of the Baltimore Ravens in 2009. Now, his young friend and brother is all grown up and has just signed to play college basketball at Baltimore's Loyola University.
In a story on USA Today, which references an article in the Baltimore Sun, Tuohy acknowledged that if he wanted to go to Oher and his parents' alma mater, he would have had to make the team as a walk-on. When Loyola showed interest, the connection seemed perfect for all parties.
Oher was thrilled to hear that his younger bro would be playing close to where he played and lived and now plans to be his biggest fan in the stands, saying,
"I'm going to enjoy having him up here...I get to go to most of the home games, just to see him play."

Brother - not "brother"
Michael is an adopted son of the Tuohy’s. Therefore, Sean is Michael’s brother. No quotations needed.
"What we've got here is failure to communicate."
I was thinking about that.
Good point. I’ll remove them.

I'm pretty sure there is no convention surrounding adoption that suggests you put "brother" in quotes
It’s his brother, or adoptive brother, but it’s not “brother”.
I've got to imagine...
that Oher is so damn sick of that movie.

Uh-oh Bruce
Looks like you better get rid of the whole “brother” thing. Some people are getting their “panties in a bunch”, and before you know it they’ll be at your door with “torches and pitchforks”.

It’s sort of the same thing as some people here being “fans” of the Ravens.
Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.
Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang
Please everyone
Stay in “control.”
I removed the quotation marks. You can all go home now, nothing happening around here!

Out of curiosity does anyone have his high school stats?
No
but I heard he had a lot of false starts.
Yes…I know he plays basketball, but I went there anyway.

This Should Not
Be funny.
But it is…

"The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug."
"God's whiskers! Your face is as hideous as the demon's in my storybook!"
