Great, great news!
"My youngest brothers think I'm a dorky older brother, I can't tell jokes because, 'I'm not funny.' They're much more street smart than I am. They can say whatever they want, cause 'they're funny.' I do pick on them. I try to be funny, but they don't laugh. Even if I am funny, nothing I say is funny to them because I'm just the older brother who's not that cool." - Joe Flacco
If vlad755’s conspiracy theories regarding Rosenhaus and Gaither are true, then this has to make Rosenhaus a certifiable genius. Gaither holds all the chips. Nobody can look at our offensive line and say that they couldn’t use Gaither’s services. Considering that he’s been injured for a year, he’s going to get a sizeable contract and will likely have the blind side locked up.
Color me happy.
Water covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface. Ed Reed covers the rest.
If that were true,
it’d almost be worth a fucking lockout so the douchebag doesn’t get his money. Here’s hoping Gaither was truly injured and unable to play, rather than sitting out to prove the line needed him. If he weren’t, a large part of me would rather let him go.
You come at the king, you best not miss.

Yeah I was part of that group of conspiracy theory nuts too
He now has the ability to nail our balls to the wall and negotiate with multiple teams all drooling over the prospect of a top notch LT. He is going to get paid big time!
Honestly, I know we are going to work hard to try and keep him, but there are WAY too many teams that could really use a solid LT (even one with work ethic and injury issues) and way too many teams that would love to pay him top dollar for a short contract. He will not be a Raven next year unless Gaither and his agent somehow really want him to stay here.

All for it
Give him a 1-2 year deal with the money he wants. If our O-line is the main reason our offense under-performed this season, then its hard to argue that he’s not worth it. Throw him back on the blind side, move Oher back to RT, and slide Yanda back to his natural osition at guard. I’m sure we can squeeze on more decent season out of Birk as well. If only we wouldve have Gaither this year, we very well could be watching our Ravens in the big game this weekend……sigh.
