Ravens Ties to BCS Championship Game

Two players on the Baltimore Ravens have close ties with the Oregon Ducks, Who face the Auburn Tigers in tonight's college football national championship game. Both DT Haloti Ngata and TE Ed Dickson played their college games at the University of Oregon before being drafted by the Ravens. Together they will be rooting for their alma mater this evening as the undefeated and #2 ranked Ducks play the undefeated and #1 ranked Tigers in the BCS National Championship Game in Glendale, Arizona.

From the PAC-10, here is what they sent me about the game, including interviews with both Ngata and Dickson:

Haloti Ngata and Ed Dickson have helped carry the pride they have for the Ducks to the East Coast. Ngata even talks about wearing the bright green colors just to make sure people in Baltimore are paying attention. The two former Ducks talk about the national championship and how impressed they are with the defense and some of the players who have risen to the occasion. Thought you might be interested.
