I don't know what's wrong with Le'Ron. He said something about there's no excuses ... He must have us confused with somebody else. I don't think we make any excuses. Last year, we didn't have our starting 11 guys on defense for a single game and yet we led the league.

They do a lot of talking. I mean the sh*t is non-stop with them. I am so ready for this game and the beat down to come for them. I almost want them to be humiliated and I’m not really that kind of person.
I would love to see a blowout. Would be incredible watching Rex Ryan knowing he lost the game in the 3rd quarter when we are up 31-10.

I love how quiet and respectful Harbaugh has been...
About the Week 1 matchup. He knows what we’re going up against, and instead of running his mouth every chance he gets, he’s remained silent. Its going to be awesome when we dominate their little punk-asses. I have a feeling that this ones not even going to be close, and Rice will easily gain his 100 yards as we’ll be chewing up the clock all game after our early lead.

Benson had 169 yards on them.
I’ve viewed Rice as the better back. It’s very possible he could walk away with an 100-yard game.
Although
the run defense has been a little suspect. Here’s to hoping that the defense wasn’t going all out in the preseason, and that even without Cody, they come out and shut down Shonn Greene and LT.

Ngata, Gregg, and Redding, with Pryce in rotation, sounds excellent to me.
Redding has looked great IMO. He has very long arms and he uses them very effectively to keep blockers away from his body. He’s also a very sure tackler. While I don’t expect much statistically, I do think he can be very disruptive.

3rd and 6+ every time. If the Ravens put the game on Sanchez’s shoulders, the Jets won’t win. But after Williams and Bradshaw had their way with the Ravens’ d, I’m a little worried. I imagine my worries should be assuaged after the Jets’ first series.
I haven’t seen much of Redding, wasn’t focusing on him when I was watching. I liked what I saw from Cody, and I’m a little upset that he’s not playing. But I’ll gladly take a Cody with healthy knees at the end of the season over a Cody that’s played the whole season but can no longer move.

Brandon jacobs was the reason. I guarantee landry, ray, and the guys won’t hesitate to put LT and green in there place. I’m thinking this will be a 4-5 sack game for our defense . I expect to see a heavy dose of mcgahee

I think what mclain meant was
There’s no excuses for anyone (including the media). I dont think it was really a shot at the Jets. But I expect nothing less from Rex.
McClain took a shot at the Jets saying we’re going to beat them regardless if they have or don’t have Revis. He’s glad there will be no excuses now, because they didn’t have their best player on the field.
We don't have one of our better players on the field either
The excuses would have been bull either way. They lost a game changing defensive back and so did we. Only they got theirs back and Ed is still on the PUP.

To be fair, sometimes Rex isn’t aware of these quotes until the reporters bring it up, so he’s hearing it out of context. I do know that Rex has plenty of respect and gratitude for the Ravens organization.

The league changed.
Offense is more exciting, sells more tickets, gets more ppl watching. Thus, rules benefiting the offense (e.g. the prohibition of any contact with receivers beyond 5 yds) have been enacted, making it harder to win with a stellar defense and a so-so offense. And the Wizard has adjusted his team accordingly.

Regardless, while I’ll probably watch this game, I’ll be conflicted on whom to root for. I don’t feel like rooting for an AFC North Rival, but it’s the Jets…
