Joe Flacco's New Nickname & Logo
The Joe Flacco new fan "Nickname" and "Logo" will be unveiled at Mother's in Federal Hill on Friday September 10, 2010 at 5:00 pm. There will be a National press release on Friday morning for the National media and the rest of the NFL. Joe's new fan "Nickname" and "Logo" will make him the most popular quarterback in the NFL. It will set him a part from Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees.
The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!

Well. I guess you got my attention. Although I must admit I’m confused as to what type of nickname this is going to be. (And how does this logo work?)
"Cam, we're not going to have any issues because we're going to be winning."
--Joe Flacco
"Just win baby. Yeah, I stole that."
--Jon Gruden
Spoiler alert:
The logo is a big unibrow, and his new nickname is “The Arm.” (Yea, that’s the best I got. It’s a slow morning.)
Hyperbole
What a strange thought. His new nick name and log will make him the most popular QB in football?? How about and MVP or a few Super Bowls?? Or hey here is one – how about a personality? I like Joe but he is dull as dishwater and shows no personality or fire on the field. That alone will keep him down in the popularity list. I look forward to hearing the new name though!
… he is dull as dishwater and shows no personality or fire on the field.
You must have missed him arguing with Cam last year.
Water covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface. Ed Reed covers the rest.
Or
after that TD pass to either Boldin or Heap against the Giants in a preseason game…
"Give us 10 points and the game is over...And they didn't score on us. Make sure you quote that. They didn't score on our defense."

I don't mean to be negative, but ...
… currently a Super Bowl win (or three) sets him apart from Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees. Of course we plan to change that this year, and it will hopefully be an appropriate statement this time next year. But at this point in his career?
Just a terrible press release.
"What we've got here is failure to communicate."
Just a terrible press release.
I concur. If there’s going to be anything that gets Flacco recognition, let it be his record. Leave the cheap media stunts to teams that don’t have anything of substance on which to lean.

Its publicity for a bar
I’m sure Joe has nothing to do with this stunt at all. If you read the press release about sending out a press release… its Mother’s that is doing all of this and its going to be announced there and probably trademarked by them.
Let’s just win the SB this year and go from there.
Its publicity for a bar
Definitely. Not really sure why it was even posted here. Is the beatdown getting a kickback from Mothers?
Haha
I don’t mind the publicity and another article about the Ravens. But, it definitely isnt Flacco or the organization that did this one.
