TJ Houshmandzadeh
Call me crazy, but would it be the worst move for the Ravens to go after TJ to be our 3rd reciever/slot reciever? Considering the fact that we just lost Stallworth for a good while it might be worth it. ESPN just said that he has the 2nd most catches of anyone in the league since 2004, I think he could certainly be an asset to us. Also, they mentioned that Seattle no matter what owes him 7 million this year, noting that he would likely take a small deal to be on a contender that could win it all (ie: the Baltimore Ravens). Anyways, I'm not saying I think we should definitely make the deal, or that it would even ever be a possibility in the Ravens/Ozzie's eyes, just putting it out there for public opinion. Thoughts?

This would be almost as funny as the Bungles signing Team Obliterator…

lol
I assume this is sarcasm, but TJ was never a team oblierator, he was just a very solid receiver. He’s not the long term answer obviously, but if we were considering Stallworth to be an awesome acquisition as a 3rd WR, I think TJ is probably even better….and he’s not injured….
lol
I’ll assume this was in response to me.
No, it was not sarcasm. I would seriously laugh my ass off if your squad picked up the Doucheman. He wasn’t that good when he had Palmer throwing to him, and now he’s a year older, and would have Flacco trying to throw to him. It would be absolutely priceless, from my standpoint.
Oh, and I never called TJ a team obliterator. I said it would be almost as funny as the bungles signing T.O.

Not sure. If it happened I would be pleased, but it is a long shot and I am not going to get my hopes up for it. Honestly at this point, Clayton may bring more to the table since he has been with our program for so long.
Agreed
TJ is pretty much an older Boldin, a tough possession receiver but doesn’t really stretch the field, if we’re going to add someone to replace Donte (though I think Clayton can do it) then it needs to be a guy to stretch the field.

Please do, I miss seeing our DB's hit that douche
Houshmanzadeh is basically a slot WR who wants to be played number one WR money.

If Troy, Harrison and Woodley are on top of their game, that is good for 9 wins right there, regardless of what is going on with their offense. - Mr MaLoR 28/6/10

I think an empty backfield set of
Boldin, Mason, Stallworth/Clayton, Houshmandzadeh, and Ray Rice sounds pretty uncoverable

I said it yesterday...about TJ
He sure as hell caught enough passes against us over the years,he hurt us more the 85 ever has. He’s a big body slot receiver with sure hands and he is not a cancer on a team.He would be a great addition,a smart move and a big target.I wrote on here yesterday that we don’t need to stretch the field anymore then 25-30 yards because of the threat of our running game. With Tj,Mason,Boldin,Heap,Rice….its simple pitch and catch,it’d be a helluva lot of fun to watch….since we have almost all the pieces in place for a serious run, having TJ might more then put us over the top….so why not!
Wouldn't be surprised to see Cincy
grab him back They really preferred not to lose him but with TO and rookie Jordan Shipley, not too sre if they’d mess up the “chemistry.”

I’d love to have him on the Ravens. He was a clutch receiver for the Bengals and could help us unless his game has really deteriorated. Anyone know why the Seahawks lost faith in him?
Houshmandzadeh
The former Bengal simply doesn’t have a lot juice left. He’s a #3 WR with the attitude of a #1. He can’t separate anymore and no RAC abilty anymore. He still runs excellent routes but his drawback is his mouth and from what I can gather he’s not a role great model with younger WR’s.
