Blah, blah blah…

To quote Ray, “This game is not played in tongues…”

I love it. I think the Ravens’ secondary is going to take this game personally. It will be a statement game for them.

absolutely

Ravens secondary minus

Our 2 best CBs and our best overall DB.

You might be able to now but when Webb and Reed are back good luck with that.

I have a lot of respect for Chad, but its definitely hard to take anything he says seriously. And now seeing how we’ve already made the Jets choke on their words, Ocho has just put a bulls eye on his back. Watch out for Ray #85.

This is a very important game. If we dominate then we can put to rest all this talk about a weak secondary. If we lose and palmer goes over 250 yards, we will be in trouble for sure until reed comes back. I really hope we don’t get exposed like the jets secondary. Unlike the “Not yets” we play with good technique and all the guys on the field has the speed to not get beat deep. This game is on mattison’s shoulders. I kno the offense will execute.

Atleast I’m expecting them to.

Palmer could go over 250 yards and we could still win. If Joe can go for 248 against NYJ, he will almost certainly top 300 against Cincy. I think we will see an offensive explosion from the Ravens this Sunday.

As for defending Ocho, sure it could be a problem, but quotes like this don’t really matter. It just makes it even sweeter when we win. Tell Ocho that the time to talk shit is usually not after you just lost a week 1 game in which all of your numbers came in garbage time after the Pats had a 31-3 lead.

I actually think that Joe may throw for less yards against Cincy. They knew that they needed to get the passing game going against the Jets… particuarly down-field against man coverage. However, the Bengals don’t place much man coverage. Their corners often play in underneath coverage with safeties over the top. Therefore, I believe that the Ravens will get the running game going early and work the middle/seams of the field with Rice, Boldin and Housh.

I really believe that this game isn’t going to be close. I think we’re going to steam-roll them. I know that sounds like a homer prediction, but I promise it came after several hours of objective, football reasoning. This game just feels like a volcano about to blow. I really feel like our guys are going into Cincinnati angry with something to prove.

no i agree.

If the Pats smoked them like that, I think we will too. And our defense is much better than the Pats’

I'm just worried about

Playing on the road after a short week. History shows that winning in this situation tends to be a tough task. Being the Bengals home opener doesn’t make it any easier.

If the Ravens do destroy the Bengals(or even just win), our guys have to be considered the front runner to make the Super Bowl out of the AFC.

True… but I’d still rather do a short week at the beginning of the season while the guys are still relatively fresh.

I remember "experts" and others

talking about the Pats secondary the same way they talk about ours. They lost their number 1 guy, inexperience, lack of size, blah, blah, blah. They Revis’d the Bungles and won the game in the first half. As a whole our D is flat out better than New Englands (bottom line!), were going to march into their home and end their season early. Should be a great game to be a Raven fan.
