According to Aaron Wilson, Cody won’t be playing tonight. That sucks, although I believe that last time the Giants running game bent us over a barrel in 2008, we didn’t have Gregg.

Water covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface. Ed Reed covers the rest.

Not that it would have mattered

Anyway, Brandon Jacobs is nowhere near the beast he was back then, and their defense isn’t as well. Surprised that Eli is donning the helmet right away, and now perhaps he’ll buckle his chin strap, eh?

Are you saying that Gregg’s injury and subsequent absence didn’t play a part in the 207 rushing yards the Giants put up against us?

Well its not really right away

He actually missed last week so the swelling could go down. The stitches are out, and he has a new helmet, one that straps from a different angle, to prevent any rubbing. I think the fact that he hasn’t really had much live action time with his 1st team O(due to injuries and whatnot) is the reason Coughlin made that call.

I do think our defense will be much improved, let’s remember there only a year removed from being division champs with the same D, more or less. plus our new DC has lit a fire under there ass.

For our sake Bruce, i do hope Eli is buckling his chin strap, extra tight. that, and also audibling out of plays and not imforming his O-line, and 260 lb. beast standing behind him.

Banks, Morris, Bavaro, Taylor. I’d build any team around those four.

Look for me at the game. I bought a Frankestein mask and put blood on the forehead. I also tore the mouth so it hangs slack jaw so it really looks like Mini Manning.

I Know

He has a SuperBowl Ring. But the one thing I kept noticing about Eli was that every dropped pass, every time he was rushed or hit due to blocking breaking down and he threw an incomplete pass, he always looked frustrated, angry, mad -not exactly building confidence like a leader should.

I never used to put stock into the whole QB attitude counts kind of thing, but I think I am starting to see the light. I remember one play with McNair when I think Clayton or some other young receiver at the time (in 2006) dropped a sure completion -I think it might have been on third down no less. McNair was about to throw his hands up in frustration, but he caught himself, didn’t do it, and instead walked off the field with said receiver, obviously talking to him about it as opposed to complaining about it -a true leader.
