Sergio Kindle may never get signed.
Ravens aren't going to sign him until he is cleard to play. A source said it looks as if it will never happen.

Even though the source of this is some newscaster from Dallas, I wouldn’t completely rule what he said. The guy that broke the story of Kindle’s fall in the first place was some blogger in Texas. If this is true, it could suck. We appear to have some solid depth at OLB, but it’d still end up as a completely wasted second round pick.
Also, how does a story about some nobody CB end up on the front page, and a story that bears consideration regarding our top draft pick in 2010 gets relegated to neglect in the Fan Shots section? Something really needs to be done about Fan Shots; either get rid of them or move them somewhere more visible.

Well E-Mail Bruce, I’m sure he’d let you have front page posting rights if you asked for it. Or you could post it in fan-posts, or simply ask me to promote it, and I’ll gladly do it.

wait a sec
are we going off of PFT now? Since when do these guys have credibility? We have more credibility than they do and we don’t even have a contract with NBC.
Don’t get me wrong, I could totally see Kindle never suiting up. That was my gut reaction to this injury when it happened. But PFT are the same guys who guaranteed that Ray Lewis wasn’t going to resign with the Ravens, and a slew of other missed predictions.
"Cam, we're not going to have any issues because we're going to be winning."

"Just win baby. Yeah, I stole that."

nevermind
its dallas morning news i guess. should have linked that instead of PFT

I mentioned that above. The real question is how seriously to take this. I’m tempted to write it off, given there doesn’t seem to be much connection between the Ravens and the Dallas Morning News. However, the original story seemed pretty weak before being corroborated days later by a more official source.

Where is Kindle from?

I believe it was the University of Texas. He also broke his brain somewhere in Texas. The guy that broke that story was a blogger from Texas.
The weird thing is that the Texas newscaster is apparently claiming a source from the Ravens organization.

Just giving you a hard time Amp...
Is it possible his source from the Ravens organization is Kindle himself? He could even know a scout or who knows. It’s a small world these days.
This is really a sad story already. Kindle had so much promise… I just hope he’ll be okay. Whether that means playing football okay or just living normally okay… just okay right now is all that matters.

PFT is the worst scumbags on the internet
"It was an attrition football game and you know we like that."
Wrong. I think the Bleacher Report wins this one

This seems to be just speculation. Everyone gets a little wild when this kind of news gets out. The whole Favre thing, with him telling teammates he wouldn’t play this year, probably happened. That’s why they all started flying down to MS to beg him to return. It was leaked by the local Minnesota paper, and probably shouldn’t have been released, because Favre never knows what he really wants to do.
This Texas blogger is certainly being recognized for this story, even though I don’t know his name, but maybe it’s just some stupid speculation. I’m not buying it.
This seems to be just speculation.
Of course it’s speculation. There’s been very little information disseminated about Kindle throughout this entire ordeal of his. Even if there had been, there’s really no way to accurately predict the long term effects of an injury like this. You’re talking about a young man with a serious head injury that wants to run into people at top speed for a living; to just brush off the possibility that Kindle’s injury could have serious long term side effects is short sighted.
Chris Henry was never diagnosed with a concussion during his college or professional careers, yet his autopsy showed chronic traumatic encephalopathy. If just playing football can screw up your brain, then it stands to reason that they might not clear Kindle to play for fear of causing irreparable damage.
Like I said, this is all speculation. But this speculation is based on medical science.

I completely agree. I just hate hearing the media make news happen. I’m sick of reading Bleacher Report and other publications trick me by making up news. I genuinely hope Kindle is alright, whether he signs with us or not. It was a stupid thing he did, but I do stupid stuff all the time. I thought about Chris Henry too. I’m fairly unfamiliar with NFL contract details; he could sign with us when healthy, right? How could we make this work if he fully recovers into football shape?
