Will The Ravens go with Four Running Backs This Year?
The Ravens have very talented players at the running back postion and last year The Ravens had four running backs on their roster(before the injury to runningback Matt Lawrence). The Ravens currently have five runningbacks on their roster as they head into training camp, and it should be a interesting battle between Matt Lawrence, Curtis Steele, and Jalen Parmele(not placing Ray Rice or Willis McGahee in this competition becuase they already earn their starting spot).
The Ravens are well known for their success with the running game and I want to know do you think it's possible they may go with four running backs this year?. I would like to know do you think that its possible that both Ray Rice and Willis McGahee can have one thousand rushing yards same as The Panthers Runnng backs did last year?

Here is my list
1. Ray Rice
2. Willis McGahee
3. Jalen Parmale
4. Curtis Steele (this is my guy who is going to rip through the pre-season)
I don’t see them carrying four backs. McClain is basically a backup running back too, so there is no reason to have Steele on the active roster unless he brings a Hester/Cribbs type return ability. He even has a hard battle to make it as a returner because Parmele was doing so well at the end of last season. Steele basically needs to beat out Parmele to make the final roster.
Parmele was a good returner who could find seams and get chunks of yardage to start a drive with. But i never got the impression on any one of those kicks that he was about to take it to the house. From what I hear, Steele may just have that sort of natural transmission where he can go from changing directions to full-speed like a REALLY dangerous kick returner can. I’m not sure we wouldn’t cut Parmele to keep Steele.

I can see that, but Parmele was solid for the Ravens. Steele will need to impress if he wants that spot.
Well Matt Lawarence was the 4th RB last year and even saw time on the active roster before getting hurt. Steele could work his way in as a gunner with the type of speed he has. I don’t think returner is the only thing Steele will be doing.
Cody is the new RB.
And we plan to run Wildcat sets with him and Ngata in the backfield.

Maybe we carry four until Reed (and maybe Kindle) come back
But I doubt more then three will be active on any given week.
We dont have room on the roster for 4 rb’s this season. It is possible we carry 4 until Kindle comes back, since it will be someone who contributes on ST. But likely not. I am rooting for Steele, looks like a beast.
Not likely both rb hit 1000 yards bec there wont be enough balls to go around. i think willis hits 600 yards and 7-8 tds
check article for why we cant carry 4

Last year we had
Rice, McGahee, McClain and Parmele active, with Matt Lawrence injured but prior to that playing well on Special Teams. The big question is whether or not Curtis Steel can compete with Lawrence for that last RB spot, as I’m not too sure he can beat out Parmele. Or can he…?
aka 'Rexx'
well from seeing recent reports from Malor it seems the Curtis Steele is very fast and if he can prove himself good in special teams such as kick returns and punt returns then he may have a edge over palmele and Matt lawrence
you mean Redman from Def SQUAD?
Cuz he’s been washed-up since 1999…
but the Dru Hill/ Redman song on the Rush Hour soundtrack was tight…

I am
so old…
“We’ll lay back and observe the constellations
And watch the moon smiling bright
I’ll play the radio on southern stations
’Cause southern belles are hell at night
You say you came to Baltimore from Ole Miss
A class of ’74 gold ring
The eastern moon looks ready for a wet kiss
To make the tide rise again, ha, ha
Moonlight feels right, moonlight feels right”
you’re like John Lovitz in “High School High” when he puts on “Rhinestone Cowboy” at the school dance.

my personal favorite
is when the guy falls out of the library window and is like “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH” and then you see it was a 1st floor window and there’s just a sprinker in his face.
Or, how they put a ski mask on the statue in front of the school and an AK in his hand…
