NFL QB Update

From the NFL's PR Department:

All eyes look to the quarterback – perhaps the most critical position in sports.

NFL Draft history underscores the quarterback’s importance.  When the St. Louis Rams selected quarterback SAM BRADFORD of Oklahoma with the No. 1 overall choice in the 2010 Draft, it marked the 10th time in the past 13 years that a QB was chosen with the first pick.

With NFL training camps getting underway, following is a listing of each team’s quarterbacks (* Expected starter; ** 2010 NFL Draft choice; ~ Veteran new to team):

Its from NFL PR dept

Bruce gets these direct so he posts them on the Beatdown for all to enjoy. Since the season is starting, it makes sense these will pick up, along with original Beatdown articles.

John Skelton is the first guy drafted out of Fordham (home of Vince Lombardi) in something crazy like 50 years. I wish him all the best in that Arizona team.

All he has to do is “Ice” Leinhart a couple of times during practice, and he’ll win the job by default.
