Another Steeler...

First it was Ben, then Santonio and now Pouncey:  NCAA Probe Allegation

Now I know this will ultimately not really affect the Steelers, but an interesting pattern is emerging with all the off the field shenanigans that is going on with that organization.  It is almost as if despite their on the field success, they are trying their best to imitate the Bengals -not exactly an organizational model...

Is my tongue planted in my cheek?  Yes, somewhat; and like I said above, this will probably not really affect the Steelers 2010 season in it of itself, but it is yet another distraction, yada yada yada...

It amazes me, with our divisional rivals, how first it was the Bengals in our division, although they seem to have gotten their act together somewhat as of late, and now the Steelers where it seems a month does not go by without a Steeler making the news for something negative off the field...  It is almost as if our divisional rivals are here for our entertainment and amusement, with actual football being a distant second priority...

Everybody kind of makes fun of Harbaugh, Ozzie and company for "counting character" when evaluating players, but maybe they really are on to something...  Why put up with this shite when acquiring a player?  It now begins to seem idiotic, almost no matter how good at football they are.
