Ravens Featured on Top 20 Fantasy Lists
On NFL.com, the Baltimore Ravens had representatives on the Top 20 lists for every position, according to their Fantasy Expert panel. Of course the Ravens defense was right up there near the top in third place, right behind the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings at numbers one and two, respectively.
Even third year QB Joe Flacco made the list, coming in surprisingly as the 11th ranked QB on their fantasy list, ahead of former Pro Bowlers such as Donovan McNabb, Matt Ryan and Carson Palmer.
Ray Rice was an impressive fourth RB listed, behind such fantasy beasts, such as (in order from 1st-3rd) Minnesota Viking Adrian Peterson, Tennessee Titan Chris Johnson, and Jacksonville Jaguar Maurice Jones-Drew.
Flacco's emergence and rising value on this list is arguably due to the acquisition of WR Anquan Boldin, who stays on the list despite leaving the pass happy Arizona Cardinals, coming in as the 16th best receiver according to the panel. Even the Ravens tight end, Todd Heap, hung in there to grab the 19th of 20 spots under the tight end category. By the time the team's two rookies, Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta finish the season, that ranking could surely change and still include a Raven though.
Current, but not definitely future Ravens' placekicker, Shayne Graham actually came in at number 15 on the kickers list, but incumbent Billy Cundiff is where to be seen in the top 20. Click here to see the full listings.

Apparently this occurred 30 days go
So he might be in more trouble for not notifying the NFL, than for the incident itself. I know he was trying to get a new contract too, good luck with that now.

OOOOH
The Bungles are in trouble. Ol’ Rog is going to weigh and measure this situation. And with his reputation, Cedric won’t be entertaining on the gridiron for a while. This could be a bigger blow for Cincy than with Pittsburgh losing Ben for 4-6 games.
It looks like Carson is going to be “Grassback” Palmer, and the Bungles will be battling with the Steamers for third place

"However, the true greatness of the Ravens’ line lies in their malevolence, led by right end Haloti Ngata. Simply put, Ngata can’t be blocked by mere mortals. He is not a product of the human species. He is really a creation of a building contractor, made of cinderblocks and some type of flesh-like covering. Throw in Kelly Gregg at nose tackle and behemoth rookie Terrence Cody and you have something truly frightening."
He looks so nonchalant about it too. That’s the funny part….

I didn’t know Troy Smith had mug shots.

He doesn’t, just centerfold portraits.

I heard on Serius
that Benson’s representation is saying he was the victim in the altercation. According to them some dude attacked Benson while he was posing for a picture with some woman, shit escalated, and Benson wound up punching a club employee out of self-defense.
They say the empty can rattles the most...
furthermore
I heard about this yesterday on the radio, and Scott Garceau said that Benson notified both the NFL and the Bengals. Granted, Garceau didn’t say when he notified them. I imagine that Benson didn’t think it was a big deal until the cops came and arrested him, and then he probably notified the above parties.
Also, if Benson’s story turns out to be true, he may not get into any trouble at all, although his prior record may grant him a short suspension.

I have actually been to that establishment several times during my years in ATX.
Bouncers are huge D-Bags so it isn’t very surprising that he could be put in a bad spot by them.
That being said, you have to know as a public figure you can NEVER punch ANYONE unless defending your family or something directly. You just can’t get away with it in this day and age… maybe 1975, but not now.
what is ATX

in my opinion Rice should be abover Jones-drew

above and over combined to “abover.” I like that.

Thats exactly why Rice is abover lol. He has 60 less carries and than Drew. and beat out rice in yards by 150. Drew had 370 yards receiving to Rice 700

Wow!
Not 1 #1 ranking for us Ravens! We have the most top 5 defensive finishes in fantasy over the past decade, still have Ray and Reed, not to mention Ngata and Suggs, and not even 1 #1 vote. Pathetic!
Don't you know
Our secondary is garbage (or at least thats what all the national publications tell me).
I was being sarcastic
I think our secondary is solid, above average for sure. Its just a media bias that makes us out to be horrendous.
Sorry guys, our secondary is week. We have a #2 at #1,an old vet that should be a nickel at #2, and Carr is average at best. Webb and Washington comming off of injuries that take at least a year to get back 100% (regardless of when they come back).Reed is on the ropes (Hamlin is no Reed). Our front 7 got stronger but our secondary took some major hits. Good for us our O looks ready to carry the team a bit. I’m not sold on this D yet. At least not until the second half when they get a chance to glue together in the secondary.

We had a weak secondary at the beginning of the year. But near the end we were doing really well. Not the greatest, but really solid. If you check out the Pass Coverage fanpost, it explains the situation we were in pretty well.

You've been brain-washed by idiots at espn
They find a way to make a secondary that was good and just had injuries sound bad. We played above average when Reed, Webb, and Washington were out. I think that if we played decently without them, we will be great with them. Our secondary is fine, so called “Analysts” Can’t find any flaw on our roster, so they retreat to making uneducated assumptions about our underrated secondary.

Foxworth isn’t a real “number one” corner because he’s not a play-maker. He is very good in man-coverage, though, so he can effective cover a team’s number one wide receiver. Really, Foxworth, Washington and Webb are great number two corners, and Webb has the potential to be a good number one.
So, the Ravens may not have a bona-fide number one corner but they have a solid group that consists of three good number twos (Foxworth, Webb and Washington) and a good number three (Carr).
