The Baltimore Ravens will be holding their Rookie Mini-Camp this week at their Practice Facility on One Winning Drive in Ownings Mills, Maryland. Led by their first two picks in the 2010 NFL Draft, second rounders OLB Sergio Kindle (Texas) and DT Terrence Cody (Alabama), the rookie class also includes tight ends Ed Dickson (Oregon), Dennis Pitta (BYU), WR David Reed (Utah) and DT Arthur Jones (Syracuse). OT Ramon Harewood (Morehouse) will not be in attendance due to the knee injury he suffered in the team's initial Mini-Camp of the spring.
In addition, there are ten other rookies who were signed by the team as undrafted free agents. A select group of veterans may be in attendance as well for the four day practice session.
While the Rookie Camp will be held from today (Tuesday) through Friday, the media are invited to attend on Wednesday and Thursday. Of course, Baltimore Beatdown will be there to record the events, bring you the news, photos and interviews. Unfortunately, Mini-Camp OTA pracitces in May and June are closed to the public.

I think Flacco comes to The Castle everyday regardless of what camp it is. It could be band camp and he would be there throwing and watching tape.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
I heard that they actually hooked him up with a room at the Castle because he’s there so much.

George Kokinis is back in Baltimore
The Ravens added some familiar firepower to their personnel department this week by bringing George Kokinis back to Baltimore.
Kokinis, who was the Ravens’ Director of Pro Personnel from 2003-08, will serve as a Senior Personnel Assistant.
"It’s good to have George back," General Manager Ozzie Newsome stated. "He will help evaluate college and pro players, plus work with Pat [Moriarty, the Ravens’ vice president of football administration].
"George knows the game, understands what it takes to win, and he will help us find players who will help us win. He has done that before for us."

i think we all had the same unfamiliarity with the 3 day draft format. The reason I bring it up’s cuz everyone had a chance to digest the 1st round, and look ahead to potential 2nd rounders.
I for one had hoped my Bengals would grab a D-Lineman We got one of the three i was looking at. Still can’t believe yall got BOTH the others: Serg and Mount…
3 yards and a pile of dust
Can I praise Ozzie for that one, or is he trying to steal playbook info from the Texas and Alabama? Lol.

not gonna let that one go, eh?
you know that came from Ravens fans on PFT

Trying to understand the writing of Mike Florio is like trying to read brail. How many “unnamed sources” die he have in that article?
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
he's gotten so out of hand
there’s plenty of stories with no sources. He’ll just say something like “Rumors are flying around” or something retarded like that. And this guy is a lawyer. You’d think he’d understand how to present his case a little better than that…
Florio lost me when he all but guaranteed that Ray Lewis wouldn’t resign in Baltimore. I knew he was wrong then, and he is forever a clown to me.

I will never forget the sentence from him. “Ray Lewis is going to Dallas. He is 100% not going back to Baltimore.”

Ray Lewis is going to Dallas. Florio just got the year wrong.

TO retire. And start another BBQ joint with Jerry Jones.

two of my kids get to meet the rookies ...
… at the Ravens Rookies signing at the Sports Legends Museum. It’s an event for Ultimate Rookies club for kids under 14. Great event for the kids – but they exclude parents from the autograph room. Oh to be 14 again.
