Undrafted Free Agents Attending Ravens Mini-Camp

While we've mentioned the names of the undrafted free agents that the Baltimore Ravens signed once the 2010 NFL Draft was completed, we now know the full extent of the group that will be at the team's Practice Facility this weekend as the Ravens open up their mini-camp schedule this coming weekend.

Many of these guys were on the Ravens radar long before 'Mr. Irrelevant's' name was called, officially ending the three-day draft. Some of the guys on their list decided to sign elsewhere as these guys have a bit of control over their destiny to determine the best environment for them to compete for a roster spot in the NFL despite not being drafted.

At the same time, getting a phone call from the Ravens Front Office must be like a dream come true for an undrafted free agent, although earning a spot on what should be a Super Bowl contender this season will be a tall task and a long shot. However, the Ravens have a great track record for finding the next-great-UFA to go along with former Ravens LB Bart Scott and most recently, ILB Dannell Ellerbe.

Star-divide

Baltmore Beatdown will be there this weekend to report on the mini-camp, including interviewing players after practices along with the Q&A sessions with the coaching staff and various players.

The group of UFA attending the Baltimore Ravens mini-camp at One Winning Drive (aka "The Castle") from Friday through Sunday will be:

Rodelin Anthony, WR, UNLV
John Fletcher, DL, Wyoming
Albert McClellan, DE, Marshall
Ashton Hall, S, Marshall
Curtis Steele, RB, Memphis
Mike McLaughlin, LB, Boston College
Morgan Cox, LS, Tennessee
Prince Miller, CB, Georgia

There could easily be another name or three added to this list by the ime the players report early Friday morning. However, this list is as of April 28th, so a week can make a huge difference and anyone who knows of other players being signed by the Ravens as UFA's should post it in their comments below and in advance, thanks for your contributions.

Josh Morris weber state cb

Carroll Times reported Josh Morris from Weber State was signed . What I found indicated he may be a fair prospect from small school— Does anyone have more info on Josh..

Prince Miller

Seems intriguing. Small, but 4.4 speed (can’t teach speed) -I like the odds for his kid. Do not know how good his cover skills are; I guess we will see starting Friday when he is going up against real-life NFL receivers. I know he seems slotted for ST’s, but with our shallow pool of CB’s, one never knows.

We need to get Vuna Tuihalamaka in here ASAP. Driving me crazy that he is still out there. Someone said that Indy got him, but I can’t find any information on that.

I’ve been hearing some great things about McLaughlin. Supposedly this guy is a bad dude. I remember him hurdling a Terp running back and then killing QB Chris Turner.

My brother in law went to BC and said McLaughlin is a beast. A great college player who scouts think will have trouble with the speed of the pro game, which is why he went undrafted. To me it sounded like he was describing Alex Wujciak – Who we both know is a damn good player – at least on the ACC level.

Wujack will definitely be drafted next year, but he needs to work on that speed. He may be one of the better LB in the ACC, but man he is slow.

They (and I) said that about the Florida LB Spikes(?), and he went in the second. I’m not saying he can’t play, maybe lack speed at MLB can be hidden a little. If Bellicheat is willing to take a chance on a 5+ sec 40 guy, we should too.

/googled his 40 time…. 4.83?!

Not that bad, give the kid a shot.

I thought they reached on Spikes in the second. He was a very nice college player but 5.05 in the forty? Yikes. Hope he plays faster then that time indicates.
