Ravens to hold Mini Camp this Weekend
As announced previously in this space, XFINITY from Comcast has generously agreed to support the best NFL community around -- us! As part of that effort, between now and the end of the 2010 NFL season XFINITY will be sponsoring a variety of special editorial and interactive features on our site.
The Baltimore Ravens will be holding their first mandatory off season mini-camp since the 2010 NFL Draft ended last weekend. The seven rookies along with the undrafted free agents will be there, as should an overwhelming majority of the team's veterans. The only ones not expected to be there are the players who have yet to sign their tenders, and therefore are not required to attend,as they are officially still Restricted Free Agents.
Friday's opening practice is in the morning, followed by a press conference with head coach John Harbaugh, QB Joe Flacco, LB Ray Lewis, WR Anquan Boldin and the team's 1st draft pick in the second round, Sergio Kindle.
Saturday morning's session includes a Q&A with the Coordinators and Terrence Cody at the podium for interviews, and ends Sunday with Coach Harbaugh taking questions after practice wraps up.
The OTAs begin later this month, with Special Teams reporting on May 18th, the full team on May 25th, rookies only on June 2-3, and finishes up with sessions on June 8th and 15th. This ends the Organized Team Activities (OTA's) until the full team reports for Training Camp in Westminster in late July.

As far as the gravitational pull, hopefully I WON’T get to know.

I cannot wait to get back up to Westminister this summer and watch training camp. Gotta get in the 6am drinking pen they had last year.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
Greatest thing is...
That my house is literally a mile walk from campus to front door. I see myself using some sick time this summer.
Yum...
they make their own seafood pizza which rocks, along with a caesar and a Moretti Dark beer, or three.

Love the clip with Cody in the back field. All everyone talks about is how 1 dimensional he is and can’t do anything but stop the run. Here is proof.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
he got us a few scores as a lead blocker and sealing the corner on those goal line plays
but, sadly, he never got to carry the ball himself.

Can you imagine?
Cody and Ngata leading LeRon or Willis on the goal ine in the Triple Set Backfield!?
aka 'Rexx'
This is definitely the year the Ngata catches and/or runs for a TD.

i read somewhere that we have a set for Ngata to run 9 routes.

Well done. Unfortunately, you didn’t get Cody in that mock. Didn’t you take him in one of your mocks?
Took him in the first round in this one.

On the Ravens roster
I didn’t see Mark Clayton listed, so he might still be unsigned as the team had placed a tender on him. Anyone know if he signed it and why he’s not listed on their roster? Thanks to anyone who can help me answer this question.

Little bit more information about mini-camp this weekend from the team website.
For those of you salivating over the arrival of the Ravens’ 2010 draft class, the wait will end Friday.
The Ravens will hold their first mandatory mini-camp this upcoming weekend, May 7-9, and Sergio Kindle and Terrence Cody will speak with the media for the first time Friday and Saturday, respectively.
The first two days of practice start at 10:30 a.m. and run for two hours while Sunday’s session is an hour and 15 minutes.
It will be the first time the entire team will be together considering the offseason program has been voluntary. During mini-camp, the team will install the basic framework of the offense, defense and special teams.
The practices are open to the media, so expect video footage of the new prospects and free agent additions hitting the field.
As far as the rest of the offseason schedule, the Ravens’ Organized Team Activities (OTAs) will be held on May 17-20, May 24-27, June 7-10, June 15-16.
You starting to get geared up for 2010?
I have been waiting for some interviews from Kindle and Cody. I was upset they did not hold a introduction press conference for either of them. Yes they were 2nd round picks, but they were our top 2 picks. Can’t wait to see some video of those guys running around and get to hear the rookies speak out.

cody is a hoot.
you guys are going to love him.
but one very important thing… it’s “terrence” not “terrance.” with three e’s and no a’s.

Nah, that was more for him than for you. dr del is some guy that actually takes time out of his life to come over here and correct our spelling. I saw you talking about how to spell Cody’s name and immediately thought of him.

Who else here is excited about Cody and Ngata crushing Delhomme/Roethlisberger/ and Palmer?
My comments aren't random, you just can't think as fast as me....
