The Baltimore Ravens will hold their second OTA/Passing Mini-Camp next week from Monday through Thursday. The media is invited to attend on Tuesday and of course, Baltimore Beatdown will be there to record and report on all the team's activities. Once practice and the requsite podium interviews are concluded, the press are invited into the locker room for further individual interviews.

Unfortunately, a special group of veterans will probably not be in attendance. They are either nursing injuries or have earned the right to skip what is officially labeled as "voluntary" practices, but we all know that players "need" to be here if they want to stay on the coaching staff's good side.

However, guys such as Terrell Suggs (recovering), Ed Reed (recovering) and Ray Lewis (earned) might not make it and no one, other than the press, will be upset or even disappointed. Their absence means everyone in their positions move up a notch on the depth charts to get more reps in their place.
