ESPN's "Scouts Inc." on Ravens' Cory Redding
I came across James Walker's blog on the AFC North for ESPN and he put up the Scout's Inc. take on the Baltimore Ravens new acquisition of defensive lineman Cory Redding. They compare him to Trevor Pryce and give the team a thumbs-up on the signing to bolster their pass rush after the loss of both Justin Bannan (Denver Broncos) and Dwan Edwards (Buffalo Bills) to free agency.
Check out the story here.

I am only hearing positives on this guy
Everything I read about Redding points to a great, great person. He has the right attitude, great work ethic and just enjoys life. With the amount of experience he has and still at a rather young age, I consider him an upgrade over Edwards.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
Yeah, heard he was just a jolly
happy-go-lucky smiling kind of guy! Fits in well in the locker room.
aka 'Rexx'
Maybe Suggs can grab the Clorox and "Christen" him as a new Raven...

Definitely a great pickup
The real question is can he make it back to the form he had early in his career. If he can, he should be a young Pryce. If not he will just be a replacement for Edwards, solid yet unspectacular. He is a gamble, but is upside is great. and at that price, with his lockerroom presence, he is a no-brainer!

Corey Redding is a great pickup
I am a Lions fan and was actually disappointed they traded him although we did need the LB help we obtained bc of the trade.
Corey has a great motor and is strong at the point of attack, very aggressive. I will be keeping an eye on him on the Ravens as he was one of my favorite Lions players.
