Ravens Keeping Eyes on Cornerbacks in Draft
Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post (and Carroll County Times), put up a great story on the Baltimore Ravens keeping their collective eyes on a deep cornerback draft class this spring. With 2nd year pro Lardarius Webb recovering from an ACL tear and last year's starter, Fabian Washington's future uncertain, they will need to look at the draft as well as free agency to bolster their secondary.
Starting cornerback Domonique Foxworth will return on one side, but even with Webb, the team needs to continue to address their depth and seems to covet a bigger corner to compare with former Raven, Chris MacAlister, whose size and speed made him one of the best cover corners during his best years here in Baltimore.

We could use the help
The Ravens could still use a guaranteed threat at CB. Someone QBs are afraid to throw towards. You know I still have to say that I remember Chris McAllister being burned time and time again. People used to say how great he was and he did pull through here and there but I saw many receivers get by him year after year. He was NOT the stopper some people claim he was. Good enough at times and average at other times.
Take away Marvin Harrison and Chad Johnson
and C-Mac was a shutdown corner. Of course, those two owned him every game they played us.

Nothing really to be upset about getting beat by those guys. Marvin is the greatest WR ever right behind Rice. Chad was a freak when he was younger and was just too fast for C-Mac.
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
and besides
Ed Reed owned Chad Johnson when he owned C-Mac, let us not forget that game in 06 when Ed gave Chad one of the hardest hits of his career across the middle, ball comes loose, Samari Rolle has it…Rolle about to go down, but wait…Ed Reed out of nowhere has the ball, touchdown! I love re-living this stuff.

Great article
Besides Joe Haden, there are no CB’s that should be taken in the first round. Kyle Wilson maybe, gotta see how he does today in the combine. There are no shut down CB’s in this draft besides Haden, but there are some great guys who could be used for depth. Exactly what the Ravens need.

Love Wilson, but
he’s so much like Webb that I think we need a bigger CB to complement him, more so than another clone.

Well it's official, Lito Shepphard was just released
I feel he’d be an excellent acquisition to the team. Either as a Nickel, or maybe even as a temporary starter if some of the other guys aren’t ready go next year.

Wouldn't mind it
I always thought he was a solid player with the Eagles. Not sure why the Jets picked him up last year then just got rid of him.

I believe he was due a $8 million roster bonus or something like that.
