Ravens' Heap Unlikely to Play in Houston

Stay connected for news and updates

The Baltimore Ravens tight end, Todd Heap, appears to be more than likely not playing this week against the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. Heap injured his hamstring on the Ravens first series against the Pittsburgh Steelers and didn't return to the game. Rookie TE Ed Dickson, along with fellow rookie Dennis Pitta, finished the game in his place. Dickson will get the start in Houston if Heap does not play and will have a full week of taking snaps with the first team. Pitta was mostly used as a blocking back as the Ravens did not have a fullback active in their 13-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday night. Expect Pitta to be in on multiple TE sets, but will still remain behind Dickson on the depth chart.
