The Baltimore Ravens might not be flashy but they certainly are consistent, making the playoffs for the third consecutive season after beating the Cleveland Browns 20-10 this afternoon. The Ravens scored on their opening possession of the second half to take a ten point lead but could not score again for the final 28 minutes of the second half However, at least they shut out the Browns for the game's final 30 minutes and guarantee themselves a post season slot which will be determined after next week's games.
Nothing spectacular in this game other than Ed Reed grabbing two picks from Browns QB Colt McCoy, but Cleveland could not score to make the game any closer. A lot of commentary about the dullness of the Ravens offense, but as long as they keep getting the wins, no one should truly care. What happens in the post season is another story and we will find out more about this in mi-January, but at least we will be there.
More to come but for now, the Ravens are 11-4 and in the playoffs! Go Ravens!!!
