OFFENSE- QB Drew Brees is pinpoint accurate. They rotate RB's Pierre Thomas, Reggie Bush and Chris Ivory. This team can hurt you in so many ways, but they suffer from being hot and cold, like a Super Bowl "hangover." They like to throw deep to WR's Devery Henderson and Robert Meacham, and 10-15 yards to TE Jeremy Shockey. Marques Colston is a possession guy. Head Coach Sean Payton will run 1-2 trick plays a game, so Baltimore's defense better be ready.
DEFENSE- The Saints are not getting as many turnovers as last year. The best way to beat them is with a ball control offense that keeps Brees off the field. LB Jonothan Vilma is their leader. DT Sedrick Ellis can rush the passer very well. Darren Sharper is a ball-hawking safety but lost a half-step this year. This team in general, is hot and cold.
