Now one can either release Washington, or perhaps try him out at safety opposite Reed in 3rd and long situations. I feel like the way he covered Bess yesterday looked like a safety trying to give token coverage to an underestimated opponent, It's horrible coverage from a corner, but actually somewhat reasonable if he was a safety. Maybe he's trying to tell us something?
