Ravens Week 9 Power Rankings

Here are some of the power rankings from around the league for the Baltimore Ravens. They don't mean anything, but are always interesting to take a look at.

SB Nation - 3rd: The Ravens may be the best team that may not win their division.

ESPN - 2nd: Without much fanfare, the Ravens have quietly won four of their past five. (Walker)

Sporting News - 8th: QB Joe Flacco continues to develop, but we'll go with the fully developed nightmare, Ray Lewis.

National Football Post - 4th: Are the Ravens vulnerable on defense? We don’t think so.

WEEI - 3rd: The Ravens benefit from the bye week in more ways than one. Not only did Joe Flacco and company enjoy some needed rest but they also moved into first place in the AFC North after the Steelers fell to the Saints.

CBS Sports - 4th: They haven't looked great the past month, but maybe the bye helped. It's still tough to believe what the Bills did to them in their last game. They get a tough test in Miami this week.

NFL.com - 3rd (There are many individual expert rankings as well)

USA Today - 4th: Donte Stallworth back at practice, hopes to play soon.

FOX Sports - 5th: It will be interesting to see what kind of approach this team takes on offense after the bye. Despite the additions on offense this year, Baltimore is ranked in the lower half on that side of the ball.

Pro Football Weekly - 2nd: Four of their pass receivers have caught at least 20 passes.

Suite101 - 4th: Baltimore had a week off to rest after a loss and a close game to the win less Buffalo Bills. The Ravens will face a tough Dolphin team in what may be the game of the week.

A few sites such as Yahoo! Sports and ProFootballTalk have not posted their rankings yet.

The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!
