OFFENSE- Remember former NFL head coach Chuck Knox' "ground Chuck" offense, where they would move the ball on the ground all game long? Well, it's Carolina's offense in a nutshell. They have 2 rookie QB's and only one wide receiving threat in Steve Smith. Their offensive line is geared toward run-blocking. The bad thing about Carolina is that they wear down. Jonathan Stewart has taken a step back from 2008 and 2009, which is part of the reason their offense is 'too safe.'
DEFENSE- They kind of have a "no-name defense" in that they play VERY hard when I watch them, athough once again they wear down in the 2nd half. You can run and throw on them but they are still very athletic. Hread Coach John Fox will assuredly be gone at the end of the season, but the players will still play hard for him.
