j-man's take on Denver in Week 5

Stay connected for news and updates

Hello Baltimore Ravens' fans. As some of you know I come over  independentlyt of SB Nation's Broncos blog, Mile High Report, and talk  Broncos  with the week's opponent. On paper Baltimore  is much better than Denver and in the last 10 years they have owned the Broncos in Baltimore. But as you know Denver  cannot  run the  ball right now and your minor  weakness on defense is CB. Denver's one strong point on offence is our WR.  Denver  has 4 good ones, all number 2 type's. I will break down Denver's offense is this post and tomorrow breakdown the defense of the Broncos.

QB:  K. Orton-  a career year so far kind of a better "Matt Cassel" in that he is very accurate in the short-to-mid range game.

RB:  L. Maroney-  if he does not play better, Maroney might be out of the NFL next year.  Knowshon Moreno is our #1 RB by far, but injury-prone at times. Buckhaler is a change of pace back.

WR: B. Lloyd  is our #1 WR and he can make the circus catch.  Orton loves him and trusts him the most. Gafney is dependable, smart, a great route runner and a savvy veteran. E. Royal is a good slot guy, like a Wes Welker. We like to get him passes off of screens in space, as he is a good YAC guy. D. Thomas is a good rookie with lots of promise, a tall, rangy body who could be a star someday.

TE: D. Graham is a good blocker who can't catch well.

LT:  R. Clady is a great  player, but is still recovering from his knee injury.  LG:  S. Daniels is average at best. C: JD Walton is learning on the job. RG: C. Kuper is not great but solid. RT: R. Harris- When he plays, we are like 8-2 since McDaniels has been the coach. He is very underrated and good at pass protection.

Leave me comments below and I will answer any Denver questions. Good luck this week.
