Why is everyone so high on Gerard? He has done basically nothing in preseason and everyone likes him because BaltimoreRavens.com put an article out about him when he was doing well in OTA’s.

I still cannot believe that three out of six draft picks will end up on the practice squad.
I do not think we had a very strong draft to begin with. We did address the major issue of WR and took guys that are not so polished. Oher, Kruger and Webb are great, but I did not like our last 3 picks.

I think it’s even more difficult to accept because last year’s draft seems to be turning out so well. With the exception of Smith, our first 9 picks may all be positioned to make contributions this year. That’s a tough performance to repeat, it could go down as one of Ozzie’s best yet.

But I think also Cousins in far from what Ozzie and all of us expect from him… Also Allen Patrick is no longer in the team

Not sure about Ellerbe though, looking at his preseason stats, why him?
Agree 100% about Walker, we paid him twice what F Wash was paid, not worth the price. For some unknown reason he still shows up at #2 on depth chart
they'll keep 6 WR I think
with figurs being the sixth to finish out his rookie contract. remember, he was a 3rd round pick and they’d like to let him finish out his rookie deal if they can.
and I think Lawrence makes it over Parmele.

Katula is our long snapper. Has been for a few seasons now. He is actually a member at my golf course and I have talked to him a few times on the driving range over the summer. Cool guy.

I have seen him up close. He does sort of look like him. He teed off in front of me and my dad about a week before training camp and the ball did not go past the woman’s tee box.

FB Don’t need one, Jamal makes his own holes
WR All retire during week 1 game. Flacco spends the rest of the year throwing to himself (he is that good) until he gets injured. Boller fills in quite well.

LB Frantically search for replacement for Ray Ray after he is arrested for the stabbing of three guys who were "actin’ a foo’ " at a night club. All else same. Really miss Bart Scott.

I like this one better than others I’ve seen. I’m not sure that they’ll keep LJ Smith with his injury + history.
I hope that Ellerbe makes it – he has that “Ravens thing”, y’know. I also like Lawrence over Parmele.
No way Figurs makes it at this point.

I’d be surprized if Harbs cuts his boy LJ from Philly, especially considering he recieved one of the more lucrative free agent contracts the Ravens gave out this offseason, probably third behind Fox and Birk, maybe behind Carr.

I don't see that happening
Webb will make it, even if he doesn’t return kicks. Carr is better than Figurs and Figurs can’t catch so he should be a casualty.

because he’s a third round pick finishing out his rookie contract. If they took it on the chin and just cut him, I’d be happy, but that would kindof be an acknowledgement of a mistake.
