Kyle Boller is The Man for the St. Louis Rams Now

I knew it, I knew it, and I even said it would happen. I just didn't think it would happen THIS soon! St. Louis Rams' QB Marc Bulger has a broken finger and that has opened the door for backup and former Baltimore Ravens QB Kyle Boller to move into the starting role. It certainly didn't take long for my prediction to come true. Now let's see how patient the Rams will be with Kyle before they go out and get some help. Perhpas we can send them Cleo Lemon or even Drew Willy.

Watch, Boller goes on an incredible run of success, tearing up the league and leading the Rams to the playoffs, causing many Baltimore fans to jump off their local bridges, and Tara Reid realizes her mistake and runs right back to him!

The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!

Hey, good for him.

He is still a very solid QB, just needed a system and a coach that would actually utilize his skills. I only wish him success and prove to everyone that we did not make a mistake when we drafted him. Well, maybe we did, but Baltimore was just not for a California boy. We needed a Jersey boy with a cool demeanor.

Earlier in Boller's career

they were an item and frequently seen around town together. Once she realized that he wasn’t going to be the next Tony Romo (!), she dumped him faster than he could tuck the ball and panic and leave the pocket!

I gave them water, bread and butter one night at Harryman House when they came in together with Dave Zastidul and his wife. It was great.

I remember

my oldest son who is not a huge fan, called me to say Tara Reid was there with some guy (Boller)!

Bulger didn't break his finger.

He broke his nail. His stylist is working 14-hour shifts to get it surgically repaired in time for it to get broken again during the regular season.

As for Boller, I honestly wish him all the best. His physical skills, as all of us know, are excellent, but his mental issues certainly caused him problems. He’d get too excited and throw a ball too hard and too low, for a pick. He’d have all day in the pocket but scamble out as if an undead Reggie White was chasing him (RIP White). If he can somehow overcome his little frenetic mental pace to processing the game, he might be able to slow things down and actually be productive in this league.

No Sweat

We got Joe Cool now, so I’m cool with Kyle succeeding. It’s all good.

No Way Boller Succeeds

He has no WR’s and a crappy offensive line, plus no defense to speak of to back him up. Why would he prosper in a worse situation than when he was in bmore?

by ello on Aug 19, 2009 11:27 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

worse competition and a fresh start in a new place that isn't heaping a load of expectation onto him

still, you’re right that he probably won’t light it up this year. And the NFC west is getting better, seeing as Seattle will certainly rebound and Arizona won’t be an easy win either. San Fran also has enough playmakers on offense to be considered a tough game for them. But still, Boller could find his way with time.

Not too sure about that.

I think he has a decent squad around him. And his O-Line is not crappy. Remember they signed Jason Brown from us for the center position and drafted the best LT in the draft in Jason Smith. Plus one of the best RB’s in the game with Jackson, I think he will do fine. Donnie Avery is solid, but besides him, they have no body. But I still wish Boller the best.

hahaha yeah i do remember that

But Boller deserved it. The guy fumbled about one out of every ten snaps. How many times did you see a snap where Boller stepped on his own shoelaces or something and he just went stumbling back and fell down for a 4 yard loss? Too many to count. Usually you’d blame that on the Center, but when a Rookie QB comes in and shows more aptitude for simply taking snaps than Boller did, it kindof proves that Boller was the one screwing things up.

Id like to see him do good

I mean I wanted to see him do good since 03, but we all know how that went (besides that time he led us to victory over the undefeated Patriots and was cheated). But he wasnt in the right place, AFC North needs a big, cool guy. Who can handle harsh weather and knows how to manage a game. Kyle was just too anxious to be something we didnt even need at the time. But as I said, Id love to see him do some good, because his fanbase needs a boost, and by boost, I mean people.

it wasn't like he really won that pats game

don’t forget, right when we could have driven down the field in the 4th quarter, Boller roped what should have been a lob to Todd Heap. Picked.

With 50+mph winds it was bound to happen.

Tom Brady made the same mistake, Ed Reed! That was just a sad game, Willis McGahee was picking their run defense apart. And I remember Samari Rolle batting down atleast 6 passes that game. It was just a true heartbreaker.

if you're going to blame anybody for that one

Blame Bart Scott. Throwing that flag was easily the single dumbest penalty that I’ve ever personally seen. If I were coach, I’d have tortured Scott in practice for that and told him “the next time you do that, you’ll ride the pine for a week. We are too talented at LB to have people throwing flags back when they don’t like penalties.”

I put more blame on Rex Ryan for calling that timeout. If that does not happen, we stop Brady and they get their first loss.

True dat.

Its history now, we get to play them this year, that should be a really good game to watch. One more thought, who remembers the way JO made Adalius Thomas look like a little kid out there. I was loving that.

I will never forget McGahee making Seau do a 540 turn of his body trying to tackle him. We had a pretty cool GIF of that on here once, wish I could find it….

seriously, his head hasn’t caught up to his arm. he’s stayed healthy. he’s still young. he’s started a ton of games. he might become the next Gus Ferrotte and stick around for 15 years.

into the wall after a TD and get a neck sprain!?
