A WR Question
Hello Raven fans I know some or maybe most are very upset with the fact that Derrick mason claiming he wanted to retire and that Drew Bennet retire after the Ravens sign him. I just want to know from your opinon what wide receiver do you think the ravens already have will be better this year and be the star like Derrick Mason is ?(hmmmm) well that may take time but it could happen, www.baltimoreravens.com stated that the Ravens sign another wide receiver and also Kelley Washington is on pup list.
The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!

PUP List really doesn't matter right now
as it is changing every day. The receiver they signed is just to have the bodies in camp to push each other. I think they’ll be just fine w/ what they’ve got, although a lot of local press aren’t convinced.

Only matters come preseason/season
or if D-Will is on it.

Does that optimism extend to Yamon “The Wind Caught It” Figurs?
Water covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface. Ed Reed covers the rest.
Figurs had better get healthy fast
There are more than a few other kick returners on this team and he did nothing to solidify his position last season and so far in practice he’s just been in street clothes as others make their marks!

poor Figurs…he wants to be a receiver but gets a bad wrap from his return game. not an easy situation to be in.
If he’s a return specialist with a bad rep as a return specialist, then, yeah, I can see how that might not be an easy situation to be in.

Especially
When you bring in the nations top college returner, along with one of the best with pro experience.
Hmm Webb, Carr, Rice, Zibikowski, McGahee, Mason (came into the league as a returner), Peerman, wow must I go on?
Good bye Figurs, Hello Marshall :P
