Terrell Suggs & John Harbaugh: Conference Call Transcripts

Last week both Terrell Suggs and John Harbaugh had conference calls with the local Baltimore media about the recent contract for Suggs. Here is the link to the transcripts of those discussions from BaltimoreRavens.com.
Interesting to see that Suggs considers himself a defensive end rather than a linebacker or even a "hybrid," although that may be as much for the negotiations as anything.

Reading Between the Lines (this is not a Matt Jones Reference-!)
From what Harbaugh was saying about the WR situation, it sounds like the Ravens know all the WR’s who are on the bubble on the 31 other teams and that they have their eyes on three or four of them to see which ones get cut from camp. And probably other teams have their eyes on our LB’s and DB’s who are on the bubble here to see who we cut so they can snarf them up…
Harbaugh is not only the Head Coach, but also the Head Cheerleader:
We’re going to have the best training camp in the history of the NFL.
I guess hyperbole is not lost on coach…

he’s dreaming. what good is a receiver acquired after camp and has no chemistry with Flacco. if there are “3-4 on the bubble” somewhere, trade now. maybe we can get a receiver cut from the Lions or Browns.

What about Plaxico??
Maybe I haven’t heard or gotten any updates, and for that forgive me. I am and have been in Afghanistan since November. But why don’t th Ravens look at Plaxico Burress? I know about his criminal stuff, but is he suspended indefinitely? I don’t know the skinny on him, but he would be the type of receiver the Ravens have never had. Just my thoughts. Please feel free to correct my info in case I don’t know.
