why more wide receivers for the ravens?
Hello Baltimore Ravens fans, I am jazz20 it's been awhile since i wrote a fanpost but today topic that i want to discuss is why are the Ravens still looking for widereceivers? Okay I do understand the more better players means a better team but come on the ravens have derrick mason, demetrius williams, kelley washington, yamon figurs, justin harper, earon riley, mark clayton, ernie wheelwright, and others. I just want to know whats the point of trying out more wide receivers isn't the one they have now good enough especially the fact marcus smith improving since last season, I saw on www.balimoreravens.com and it said doing rookie training camp the ravens have tryout more widerecivers but it seems they put more focus on the wideout from towson university, who played basketball and football.
I have thought about this really hard becuase even if the ravens are classify as a sport team but it also is a business same with any other sport team , so i believe maybe they are trying to insure their future of the next Derrick Mason or top widereciever once Derrick leaves or any other good wide receiver leaves. I just think so far the wide recivers the ravens have are very talented they have Earon riley, Mark Clayton ,Demetrius William if you want to talk about speed, they have Derrick Mason, Marcus Smith,Kelly Washington if you want to talking about hands and toughness, so what else do they need ? I don't think they need a anquan boldin or that widereciver from the broncos they already have the perfect package in my opinon.
I also want to know what rookie wideout you think will become good player that the Ravens have and do you think that
The opinions posted here are those of the administrator of this blog and his loyal readers. They are in no way official comments from the team, and should not be misconstued as such, even though he thinks he could do just as well or even a better job!

the reason
Mark Clayton is a Y.A.C Receiver that means that he needs a deep threat also Mason was injured and what happens if he is put on IR. also he if he is not they will bring the safety over the top ,and D.Williams has been injuried every year so there could be a trade for him . that would mean the Derrick mason would not have to deal with the safety as much and Mark Clayon can run after the catch and let heap be better.so if they need 2 add depth at other positions it a little bit more free now but with out him
how many WO do we need to sign to get the same kind of production that he has done over 2 years
Ravens have no rookie WR's, although a few undrafted FA's
They didn’t draft any WR, but signed a couple after the drafrt but none will figure into their plans this season IMO. If they decide not to go for Marshall, they have a couple of second year guys who can step up if given the chance (Marcus Smith, Justin Harper).

Fixed that for you.
Water covers 2/3 of the Earth's surface. Ed Reed covers the rest.

we need as many receivers as possible in our camp. we’re bound to develop 1 receiver in 15 years.
