Ravens sign QB John Beck

PrintAcording to profootball.com former dolphins QB John Beck will sign a one year contract with Baltimore on sunday. Terms weren´t disclosed.
Beck´s connection to Baltimore is through offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, who draft him in 2007, when he was Miami´s head coach.
He will compite will Troy Smith for the No. 2 spot at QB.
Also was reported that he had interest from 6 NFL teams before deciding for Baltimore, because of his relation with Cameron, and QB coach Hue Jackson.

David Jones just signed with the Ravens as an UDFA. He’s a CB/WR from the University of Kentucky, and if he plays up to his potential, you guys are gonna have a great addition to your team. I’m not a Ravens fan (I’m a Niners fan in case you wondered), but I will definitely be pulling for the Ravens as long as David is there.

I thought winners were welcome on here. I’m here to talk about my boy playing for the Ravens. The Duke thing….let it go. I could care less about Maryland. Maybe Terp fans should take that advice and worry about their own team rather than Duke’s team. I know you don’t like them, which is fine, but to say they suck and Coach K sucks is just plain old ignorance.

…but that 41 point margin of victory you got slapped with is still better. And who cares that you beat UNC? We got another ACC Title out of it, so really….get over it.
This is what I mean by Maryland fans being completely ignorant. It’s so sad that as Ravens fans you still have nothing better to do than talk about Duke. Maryland will never be better than Duke as a program, and your coach will never be as good as Coach K. The sooner you face it, the better off you’ll be.

It’s nice to see SOMEBODY on here has some sense. Mr MaLoR and FeartheTerp1 need to get over the fact that I like Duke. I came here in the first place to talk about my best friend’s brother being a Raven. It just saddens me that Maryland fans (excluding the sensible, intelligent ones) do this all the time. All Duke does is play good ball. And all these people on here can talk about is my profile. If all you have to say about me is I like teams that are spread across the country…..so what? Those are the teams I’ve liked since I was a kid. The only local team I have is the Mountaineers, so I stick with who I liked since I was six or seven years old. Don’t be bitter at a team simply because they win. That’s the most foolish thing a fan can do.
ALL of this aside, you guys (The Ravens) should get a good, speedy corner in David Jones. I hope on everything he makes the team, ’cause I will definitately be cheering for Baltimore. Anybody on here bothered by that ’cause I love Duke…..get a life. Please.

Nobody (I hope) cares about this. Duke and Maryland are both good teams. It’s immature and hopelessly pathetic to keep it up. For the 100th time, I’m here to talk about the Ravens and my friend being apart of them. Please take this nonsense to the Maryland post board where somebody may actually care about hating Duke.

The fact you guys are even talking about John Beck tells me a lot. When John Beck is what you guys are worried about, I’m glad I’m not a Ravens fan.

I would rather be “fake” (as you call it), then sad any day. Posting for two weeks about John Beck (The apparent SAVIOR to you guys), and bashing players who signed with your team…..that’s sad.
