Top NFL Franchises

The National Football Post ranks the NFL franchises from top to bottom on a variety of issues. The good news is that your Baltimore Ravens are ranked #5 overall! The bad news? The Pittsburgh Steelers are #1.

Check it out here.

Can we at least agree that downgrading the Colts current ownership

for the 25 year old actions of someone who has been dead for over a decade is stupid?

No offense...

…but I think that the Indianapolis front office is overrated. If they didn’t get Peyton Manning, they would be one of the worst teams in the league. Manning wins the games… period.

look at the draft history

Pro Football Reference’s objective system but the Colts at the top by far

No

The Colts draft really well; furthermore, what would the Ravens be without Ray?

My best game plan is to sit on the bench and call out specific instructions like 'C'mon Boog,' 'Get ahold of one, Frank,' or 'Let's go, Brooks.' -Earl Weaver

Probably doing better

than the Colts would be doing if they took Ryan Leaf instead of Manning, RIGHT!?

I wasn’t saying that they’re bad drafters. I just think that Manning makes them look smart more often than not.

Basing the top franchise off of how many years their players play is stupid

We produce all around better talent and more free agents then anyone. IE, we have the most compensatory picks in the last 10 years or w/e

You have to hate losing more than you love winning.

Pro Bowls too

Comp picks don’t work because that only counts players you let get away.

and you have to account, like they did

for draft position.

Indy is the best because they have had among the best drafts, but have done it picking late year after year.

Ravens are doing something right quietly...

I like how they mention that we’re making the right moves quietly. I say the quieter the better. Its funny how they also give us the 5 spot and say “you probably weren’t expecting it.” LOL, like the job Ozzie and our franchise has been doing recently is still a big secret. I understand that the Ravens haven’t been necessarily the most successful team on the field since 2001 but you have to acknowledge more their front office efforts in trying to establish a consistent winning tradition since then. I would say a 4th spot ahead of the Eagles is more appropriate. I think Im safe in claiming that, as long as an Eagles fan doesn’t show up!
