Gonzalez Trade Helps Ravens

Today's trade of TE Tony Gonzalez from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Atlanta Falcons for a 2010 2nd round pick is a good move for all teams and should make the Ravens happy. Baltimore plays the Chiefs in the 2009 regular season opener and not having Gonzalez to throw to by new QB Matt Cassel can only help us get off on the right foot. Kansas City is sure to draft a new TE sometime this weekend, but whomever it ends up being certainly is no Gonzalez.

Thanks to both teams for just making our Ravens lives easier.
