Former Baltimore Ravens Special Teams player, Daren Stone, was suspended for unknown reasons for four games, according to an article posted by Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times. I have read and listened to Wilson in the paper and on radio and he is as good if not better than most any other sports reporter covering the Ravens.
Most Ravens fans will only remember Stone for his boneheaded unsportsmanlike penalty towards the end of the 2009 AFC Championship Game against the Steelers when he hit a Pittsburgh player out of bounds on a kick that might have left us in pretty good field position that instead put us deep in a hole that we were unable to climb out of.
I'm sure you were all so interested in this news and are disappointed in the man that might have had a hand in costing us a trip to the Super Bowl last season. I'm also sure you can all come up with some hysterical reasons why he was suspended as well. Have fun!
