Ravens Unwilling to meet Cards Asking Price for Boldin

As I mentioned in an earlier FanPost, it appears that trade talks between the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals for WR Anquan Boldin have reached an impasse.

The Cards are looking for both a 1st and 3rd round draft pick in this year's draft. The Ravens are looking to offer a 2nd and a current player, but both sides seem to be refusing to budge. While I would trade our first and even next year's third, I may be hesitant as well as Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome, to give away two early, first day picks in this year's draft. At the same time, a current player and our 2nd pick would be a steal for Baltimore and most of us would do that in a second, pretty much regardless of who that "current player" might be (Clayton, McGahee?).

Anyway, this of course, might all be speculation, as this information reportedly is coming from the Baltimore Sunpapers, not the Ravens themselves. Keep tuned to the Beatdown for any breaking news!
